This is where we live now in Berlin New Hampshire. It's pronounced berr-len, not like Berlin Germany. It has been the most awesome 9 months! We arrived on December 2nd and the snow had just started, we drove up to our little house to see what it was like. We took the house site unseen, I know scary...but our friends assured us it was a great little place and in great shape. Without these friends we would arrived homeless and living in our cars. Curtis had become friends with them when he was up here before when our restaurant had been destroyed in the hail storm in 2012. Gene and John has a cousin that went into the nursing home and she didn't want her house to be empty during the winter. She even allowed us to have our 2 dogs and 2 cats. Our dogs are labs, so they are big. Through all of this they have turned out to be better inside dogs than outside dogs. When we move, it will seem odd that they will be outside once again...(we will see) lol.
The people here are extremely nice and it is just beautiful here. If you are an outdoors person this is THE STATE for you! Winter, you can ski, snowshoe, cross-country ski and snowmobile. Here they have trails that you can ride your snowmobile and some towns such as Berlin will allow them to ride on the street so the riders can access local business'. In the spring, summer and fall is for hiking, four wheeling, rafting and kayaking. It is an amazing place. So, you may be wondering...why are you leaving?? Curtis got a promotion and we are going to Oklahoma City. Once again we will be driving cross country to our new home. We plan to take a day to see something new and I am very excited! Enjoy the pictures of where we are now and then later our adventure to Oklahoma City.
